2014 Jaffa Race

The annual ‘Jaffa’ race which was part of the week long Cadbury Chocolate Carnival is a unique event where 75,000 coloured balls of chocolate are poured down the world’s steepest street, Baldwin St, Dunedin. Each Jaffa has a number on it and first one to the bottom wins the loot. Visually spectacular but also very hard to film as it is over so quickly. I thought this was a great opportunity to use the Edgertronic Slow-motion camera (thanks to Otago Institute of Sport & Adventure) to slow the action right down and see what those little guys get up to on their quest for first place.
